Anne has been a Registered Midwife since 1993. She received a BScN and DPHN from University of Windsor, Ontario; a Master of Nursing in Midwifery from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and is a PhD candidate at Western University, London, Ontario. She is a senior partner in an active clinical practice in Hamilton and is an Associate Professor in the Midwifery Education Program at McMaster University. Her research interests are in the areas of evidence based midwifery practice, collaborative models of maternity care, and interprofessional education.
