Is a home birth as safe as a hospital birth
As the world waits anxiously for news of the next British royal birth, there has been intense speculation about where Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will be delivering her baby. There have been reports she’s planning a home birth for reasons of privacy and comfort.
Even an unconfirmed suggestion that the duchess might not have her baby in a hospital has renewed debates about the safety of home birth.
