Dr. Hutton awarded the sixth annual Mohide Lectureship Award
Dr. Hutton was recently awarded the sixth annual Mohide Lectureship Award.
Dr. Hutton’s paper entitled “Urinary stress incontinence and other maternal outcomes 2 years after caesarean or vaginal birth for twin pregnancy: a multicentre randomised trial” was selected for this award.
In 2014, Dr. Hutton was also the inaugural Mohide lecturer and the recipient of the inaugural Mohide Lectureship Award for her paper entitled “A randomized trial of planned caesarean or vaginal delivery for twin pregnancy”.
The goal of the lectureship, established by Dr. Patrick T. Mohide, is to recognize and share key research performed by members of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and McMaster University. Mohide is a professor and specialist in maternal fetal medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Department of Radiology. He served as chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1999 to 2010. He has a strong interest in clinical trials and the evaluation of diagnostic technologies.
