The Program

The Ontario MEP is actively integrating anti-oppressive pedagogy into our curriculum and is committed to supporting preceptors to have the knowledge and skills to integrate anti-oppressive practice into their teaching. This two-part workshop is open to all midwifery preceptors in Ontario. Over the upcoming year, all current midwife preceptors in the province will be expected to complete this workshop. Moving forward, completion of this workshop will be a requirement in advance of student placements for new preceptors.

Target Audience

This preceptor education program is mandatory for any Ontario midwife who is or will be precepting midwifery students in the consortium.
